Xunantunich Mayan Ruins & Cave Tubing
A scenic 100-mile drive through the hills of Belize leads to El Castillo, one of the largest Maya temples in Belize. Freedom to explore the site of this ancient Mayan village while you learn about the culture and history makes this experience extra special along with the expansive views of Guatemalan and Belizean mountain ranges.
Lunch is served enroute to some of the most spectacular cave systems in the region floating along chilly waters and climbing up to ancient hidey holes where Mayan pottery and dwellings can still be seen today.
Breath-taking limestone formations designed by centuries of nature envelop the ritual and ceremonial sites that are part of the ancient peoples' as well as the cave's mystique and magic.
Duration: 10 hours Tour time: Departs at 7:00AM Difficulty Level: Moderate
Restrictions: Minimum Height for Tubing is 40".
